FUNCTIONAL AND AESTHETIC FILLINGS

In general a filling is needed to treat cavities or to repair a cracked or broken teeth. If a filling is necessary we have various possibilities.

Composite Fillings
Made of high quality synthetic material, composite fillings have a high functional and aesthetic value. The laying of composite is relatively time consuming but absolutely worth the effort.

Cement
In our clinic we do not use amalgam. Cement is a good alternative for amalgam. These kind of fillings will be fully paid for by your statutory health insurance and are especially suitable for mould-like defects.

Ceramic Fillings
Medium defects can be treated with ceramic fillings. They are used when cement or composite fillings are not sufficient to restore your tooth. In our clinic we use state of the art ceramic material. They are manufactured in 3D in our own laboratory and will then be fixed in the cavity. Ceramic allows us to manufacture highly aesthetic fillings with individually adapted colour scheme and relief. The optical quality of ceramic fillings surpasses other materials.

Gold Fillings
Gold fillings are another alternative to restore medium defects. Since they stand out next to natural teeth, they are normally used in less visible areas of the mouth. For patients who tend to grind their teeth gold filling especially recommended since they are more durable, even under mechanical stress.
